Praveenji, u r right. One should consider the political developments (and the politics involved in this Project). Things have been moving in a way which is not at all healthy. It will remain a PUSH-PULL scenario until the foreign firm involved threatens to send back all Malayalees from the Gulf. If LDF pushes, there comes the opposition to pull it. 'cause opposition does not want its rival paraty to take credit (and unfortunately, in Kerala both paraties sit in the opposition on ROTATION, once in every 5 years. So, you can find always a fine block for this kind of major projects in Kerala.
I also recommend people to watch and wait development in next 6 months; and when the current partner pulls out, there will be hectic selling of property at discounted prices. One can buy at that time.

Rajakumar,
You said it !
This game is going to continue for some more time. People have invested crores of money around the 'Smartcity concept' in Kochi. No one knows exactly when it is going to happen, if at all. People who spend lot of money to get some low land in Kakkanad are going to be fooled, unless the government is firm on making the Smartcity project a reality.
