>>You said domestic and international companis are not interested ???, but the company who occuppied the entire space in leela park is an internatonal company.
You are mis-representing my statement. I said that they are not AS INTERESTED IN KERALA AS THEY ARE IN THE OTHER STATES. See the complete remark below:
"In the current socio-economic-political scenario, domestic/international companies are not as interested in Kerala as they are in the other states. As Ajit said, they are gradually getting interested. Giving land to DIC is not going to make the future prospects of Indian software companies investing in Kerala any bleaker. It will only brighten those prospects."
Can you dispute this statement? Can one Leela enable us to compete with Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Hydrabad or even West Bengal???? So the solution is to encourage any investor who's interested in starting a facility in Kerala. DIC showed interest, Chandy encouraged them. Is this wrong????
>>every one is very clear ommen and team is just behind the smartcity. so our great "viksanam ommen" is not meeting other domestic companies to invest here.
Ok, for argument's sake, let us assume that this is correct. But then unlike Laloo, Chandy has not been ruling Kerala for the past 15 years. So why didn't these domestic companies invest in Kerala before Chandy or even UDF came into power?? How come despite 15 yrs of the govt effort, Kerala's IT export is mere 300 crores; whereas that of Karnataka is around 40,000 crores???
