SmartCity in My Homeland - A Comment

It seems, few distinguished members has taken things personal and is trying to spoil the spirit of this forum. Maybe they feel that this is a contest. Of late, the discussion topics have become
personal, pathetic and politically motivated, which incidently projects "Malayali Culture" very badly
to the visitors of this site.

Anyhow, the decision for making "Smartcity" a reality is not in our hands nor we will be able to
influence it a bit. We should be a bunch of spirited "Malayalis" who wants to share our common
often funny, concerns about the project.

At least we should show some appreciation to the good people who has spend their money and
valuable efforts to run the show for us by giving this website!!! Let us stick to the topic and
probably add few jokes here and there.

I don't want to initiate a discussion on this posting, instead please take this as a comment and
try to limit ourselves to the small wonderful world of "Smartcity in My Homeland" discussions.

Yes, Mr. Varrunni is correct. Cochin is a nice city. Beautiful backwaters, lakes and the view of sunset over Arabian sea through the chinese fishing nets in Fort Cochin is mesmerising. No other place in the world have such beautiful artwork done by the nature itself.

    Mr Joseph,

Cochin is beautiful....no doubt....but you have to consider that people living here need to survive...A smart city project will not take away its beauty , instead it will open some way directly or indirectly for the common people here....

The people living here can't move on unless there are opportunities, and industries coming here...

    Mr. Joseph Sq.,

Yes, a perfect location setting for a storyboard with distinguished characters
such as "Kuttichathan's", "Vedalam's","Para's", "Thorappan's", and you name it.

In addition to these characters, the availability of One-track minded renowned
actors such as "backslappers","mama's and the papa's" - who are skilled and
experienced in the art and science of governing, makes the storyline even more
    "mesmerizing".

It is a pity the likes of "Steven Spielberg" or other such distinguished film
personalities are not aware of the abundance of these rare specimens in one
location where "the world have such beautiful artwork done by the nature
itself". Who knows, perhaps even Microsoft might be tempted to bring out a new
screensaver "Theme" for their Operating System....

Neverthless, Let us hope that the skyline of "Kochi" becomes a world-class "IT
    Center"......
