Model engineering college(MEC) one of the best engineering college in cochin.This college is located in Thrikkakara.This institution has passed almost 20 years with their excellent teaching methods.This college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology which includes B-TECH in various streams.
This is one of the oldest college in cochin which was started in the year 1989.It is the first college which is affiliated to CUSAT and first self-financing college which was under Kerala government.Students are blessed with the placement services of this college and as per the report MEC has ranked 28th out of 50 Government engineering colleges in India.

Eligibility:
1)Passed in higher secondary examination.
2)50% of marks in mathematics.
3)50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science /Biology.
