About Brunton Boatyard Hotel at Fort Kochi
Brunton Boat Yard Hotel is moored on a historic stretch of the Cochin harbour. The Brunton boatyard hotel has resurfaced from the the remains og the Victorian shipyard and gives the modern tourist traveller a chance to live in the shadows of the 19th century. This is one unit of the CG hearth group of hotels in Kerala.
Brunton Boatyard hotel is a small and intimate city hotel, with the lobby is a place full of sunlight and air, framed by arches and punkahs, old and enormous indo - portuguese types of fans etc. You can find old dutch maps on one wall, a small navigation device on the other, an ancient anchor in the courtyard lawns and then an armory bar with portuguese breast plates and musketry. A little far from there as you open a small door the entire vista of the cochin harbour opens up in front beyond the pools waters.

There are 22 rooms which overlook the sea which can be clkassified into regular rooms and harbour suites. Even the bathrooms of these rooms face the sea, as you soak in the tub you can watch the ships sailing by. In the harbour suites
The food served at the restaurant is a mix of Kerala, syrian christian and jew cuisines as well as portuguese. These cuisines have been given a lease of life recreated with a correct mix in the old family's kitchen.
