SBOA stands for the State Bank officers Association and their Educational Trust manages schools for the benefit of their officers' children irrespective of caste, creed or religion.The Motto of the School is " to Educate and Illuminate"
These SBOA sponsored schools are day and Residential Schools based in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Kochi.The school at Kochi is affiliated to CBSE at New Delhi.The trust got sponsored in the year 1978 and was inagurated in the year of Children 1979.

There are school buses run by the school for the conveniences of the students. Charges vary according to the distance the student has to travel and the charges are to be paid in advance every month.
There is a book shop at the School premises for all the stationery requiorements of the students.
There is a part time medical practitioner who is fully capable and all the students are expected to undergo medical examinations once every year. The reports will be sent to the parents for follow up .
The SBOA school awards merit cards, Class Honours, Appreciation Cards and certificates for students for the students who pass out in flying colours in academic, cultural, sports and extracurricular activities.
The School has co curricular curricular activities , in order to provide the students total education like Social Service League, Quiz club, School Band and also extra curricular activities like Classical Dance, Literary Clubs, Classical Music, Computer Clubs, Library Club, Eco Club, Science Club, Dramatic Club, Maths club and Health Club.
Physical and Health Education is a must for every student and the school provides all important indoor and outdoor games for both boys and girls like Foot Ball, Cricket, Volley Ball, Badminton, Table Tennis, chess and Gymnastics which are played under supervision of experianced coaches and well trained staff. Inter house competitions are held in the school and the school also participates in various Inter School games and Athletic meets and other various tournaments and sports events organized by CBSE and other State level Organisations.

Second Languages offered in the School are Malayalam and Hindi.
The Fees gets collected in 4 instalments namely June, September, December and march. The fees have to paid before 15th of every term and the special fees is to be paid with the term fees.
