The Radcliffe school has just started and is till Class V at present. For the academic session 2010 - 2011 the classes are from Classes Nursery to class V , they are planning to add classes VI to VIII in the next academic session that is 2011-2012 and by the end of 2012 - 2013 session the school would be ready with classes till XII .
The Radcliffe school will be following CBSE syllabus with NCERT Curriculam. This is a co educational school and will have 40 students per class. Radcliffe school will take students from all parts of India, Engish is the medium of instruction and the regional languages will given equal importance.
Admission Procedure at the Radcliffe School
You can get the prospectus from the administration office of the Kochi School. You can register online also to the respective site but get the prospectus by paying Rs 500/ from the front desk officer at the concerned administration office.
There is no entrance test for the children, but parents with the children should go through verbal interaction with the staff for the final admission. The Parents of the child selected for the admission will be informed immediately and they will have to submit documents along with Registration and Tuition Fees during the admission.
Documents needed for admission of the Child
From Nursery to Class I
• Duly Attested Copy of Birth certificate
• 4 Copies of Passport Size Photograph of the candidate
• Proof of residence
• Parents’ Photographs
From Class II to Class V
• Previous Year’s Report Card
• Original Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school
• In case of inter-state students, the Transfer Certificate should be counter signed by the education office
• 4 Copies of Passport Size Photograph of the candidate
• Parents’ Photographs
In the sports side the school has playground facilities for Cricket and football as well as athletics, yoga, martial arts, carom and table-tennis facilities
The Radcliffe school has a library with an extensive reference section to help the students work on multi-disciplinary projects, as well as a number of fiction and non-fiction books, children books, comics and student magazines. the Library also has internet facilities for the staff as well as the students,
Science classes are conducted in the large and well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology and electronics with ultra-modern facilities to give a scientific ambience.
Computer labs of the Radcliffe school are well equipped and of the latest configuration. Computer labs have two surveillance stations for constant monitoring to ensure safe Internet surfing environment. The labs also facilitate senior students to acquire programming skills. The labs are equipped with Latest technology multimedia systems, Flat colour monitor, Optical mouse, Individual headphones, 24x7 fast Internet connection, On-line UPS for system backup and Networked environment.
The cafeteria of Radcliffe School is a wonderful place for the children to have food and interact with eachother. The cafeteria is supervised by the food committee and periodic checks are undertaken to ensure hygiene and cleanliness in the area.
There is a well equipped Medical room for the minor injuries and ailments and also have a full-time, qualified physician and a nurse to handle emergency cases. Radcliffe school has also tie ups with the nearby hospitals for the enmergency.
Transportation is availabkle in the schoolfor the pick and drop of the students and teachers through well maintained buses from the numerous points of collection. They have lady attendants and teachers for the children till the last student gets dropped.
