Location of the Toc H Public School
Toc H Public School, located in Vytilla of the district of Ernakulam in Kerala is one of the most famous schools in South India. The school is located in the sprawling 7 acre campus, caressed by the rippling backwaters and embroidered with lush greenery. They just kick started the whole project in 1978 with just 32 students and at present is going strong with 1782 students.

Toc H Public School is run by the Toc H Public School Society with their headquarters at UK. The motto of the school is " Service is the rent we pay for our room on earth. The aims and objectives of the school are ' To enhance academic excellence, to stimulate creativity and innovation, to cultivate qualities of understanding, cooperation and synergy, to inculcate awareness of the socio-cultural needs of the community and to nurture a vision for international unity and global citizenship among the students. The School follows CBSE board syllabus ( 10+2 ) that is from the Primary to the Higher Secondary classes.
Facilities at the Toc H Public School, Vytilla
The school campus has an administrative block, a nursery wing, primary school wing and the expansive secondary and higher secondary sections. The school has made facilities for playgrounds for basketball, cricket, hockey and football and a 200 m track for athletics. There is an indoor stadium for table tennis, shuttle badminton and roller skating.
Laboratory Facilities at the Toc H Public School
There are two computer labs one for juniors and one for seniors, one lab each for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics with internet connectivity in all of them. There is a Bio technology lab started off in 2003 to help the higher secondary curriculum.
There is a Library available in the school with more than 10000 books and periodicals ranging from text books and reference books, Board Examination Reviews, fiction, drama, poetry, books on travel, environment, animal care, life skills, disaster management, and many other topics. Books related to activities and hobbies are also available. There is a separate section for CD roms with around 250 CDs for the student's use.
Other Amenties at the Toc H Public School
There are separate hostels for boys and girls at the school campus. There is a dedicated team for each hostel to look into the everyday matters and housekeeping at the hostels.
School buses are available for the transport of the Non Resident students from in and around Kochi. there are several buses running in different routes. You can contact the school authorities for more details.
There is an Audio Visual Room situated on the 3rd floor of the new administrative block equipped with Plasma TV, LCD Projector and state of the art Audio Visual equipments.
There is a well equipped clinic which is open 24x7, has a full time qualified nurse. With that there is an ambulance waiting in case of emergencies. Doctors are also available at short notice from in and around hospitals. Counselor is also available for students who need advice and moral support. There is a remedial teacher available for looking after the learning disabilities of the primary school children.
Kid's Ark is a Children's park which is like a magic world with its designer gardens, tunnels, hillocks and fish pond.
Canteen and cafeteria are also available for serving piping hot food neatly and meticulously prepared.
Extra Curricular activities at the Toc H Public School
The students are divided into 4 groups and activities are planned under the supervision of house-in-charge teachers and spearheaded by the house captains, vice captains and house leaders.Inter-house Literary and Cultural Meet
Inter-house Literary and Cultural Meet is a 3 day event which is held in the first term every year. Science Club, Interact Club and Balajanasakhyam (both dedicated to community service), Environmental Club, Quiz Club and Debaters’ Club. are the main clubs of the school and an annual academic day, two day athletic meet for the seniors and an annual sports meet for younger ones are planned and held.
