Chinmaya Vidyalaya Schools are run by the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust, Mumbai in several parts of India. They hold classes from Kintergarden to Higher secondary classes, so it is a one stop school till College. Montessori and the other modern systems are used to teach children in the nursery classes and from Class I they will follow CBSE ( Central Board of Education syllabus).
The Motto of the school is "Keep Smiling " so that the child is encouraged to face all that is happening around him or her with courage and have a calm, smiling demeanor even in the face of adversity.
Facilities provided at the school
They have Computer facilities, play ground, an AV Room where they have the best of net facilities and has all the latest equipment and students are encouraged to make Power Point presentation in various subjects. The school has Labs not only for science and Computers, they have labs for Mathematics and a science lab for the juniors where in they are made to think and experiment.
Extra Curricular Activities at Chinmaya Vidyalaya
They are also known for extra curricular activities. The Children are encouraged to take part in various talent hunt programs and the school itself has a program called Talent time. The school encourages multitudes of creative talents in a child and tries to bring as many as possible.
